On 2nd February 2022, the Chavara Cultural Centre, Delhi continued its international webinar series as part of World Interfaith Harmony Week. The second day focused on the theme: “The Role of Judaism in Promoting Peace and Harmony in the World.” The programme began with a warm welcome and introduction of distinguished guests and participants, including Sharon Lowen, Dr. Slomo Alon, and Fr. Roby Kannamchirayil CMI. Their presence added depth and international significance to the dialogue. A panel discussion led primarily by students and scholars from Providence Women’s College, Calicut, explored Judaism’s understanding of love, truth, justice, equality, and fraternity. The speakers highlighted that Judaism is a monotheistic faith centered on belief in one God, who calls humanity to live with justice, righteousness, and compassion. Emphasis was placed on ethical living, responsibility toward others, and the pursuit of peace as divine mandates. The discussion also reflected on Judaism’s rich contributions to art, music, and culture, demonstrating how faith traditions influence creative expression and strengthen human solidarity across communities. The session concluded with words of appreciation to all participants and organizers. The organizers also announced the continuation of the webinar series, with upcoming sessions dedicated to Sikhism, Islam, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, the Baha’i Faith, and Christianity. The second day of the series further strengthened the vision of the Chavara Cultural Centre to foster interreligious dialogue, mutual respect, and global harmony through meaningful engagement and cultural exchange
