Throughout the year, Chavara Cultural Centre, Delhi, has championed a broad series of Peace Education Programmes—notably the "U-in-D Talks" (Unity in Diversity) and "Passion for the Nation" initiatives. These programs have reached thousands of students in Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and beyond, sowing the seeds of leadership, social responsibility, compassion, and interfaith harmony.
The Peace Education Programmes typically include:
Creating an atmosphere of mutual respect and acceptance among the students of different faiths.
Interactive sessions on unity, leadership, and social values
Student oaths for peace and harmony
Cultural performances representing India’s religious and social diversity
Distribution of badges and certificates to encourage lifelong learning and leadership
Key schools where Peace Education Programs were conducted:
Infant Jesus School, Dwarka, New Delhi (July 11, 2024), St. Peter’s School, Faridabad (July 20, 2024), Sacred Heart Convent School, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh (August 30, 2024), Holy Child Senior Secondary School, Tagore Garden (August 9, 2024), and St. Peter’s Convent School, Sector 88A, Haryana (August 15, 2024) etc.
