First Chavara National Online English Elocution Contest 2023

Celebrating the 218th Birth Anniversary of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara

On the occasion of the 218th Birth Anniversary of Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the Chavara Cultural Centre and CMC Jaipur Region jointly organised the First Chavara National Online English Elocution Contest 2023 in association with st. peter’s schools of Faridabad, bringing together young voices from across the nation in a celebration of talent, confidence, and eloquence.

The competition was structured into four categories:

The nationwide competition witnessed an overwhelming response, with 480 participants from 70 schools across 14 states of India. The contest aimed to inspire students to develop public speaking skills while reflecting on the values and vision of St. Chavara, a pioneer in education and social reform.

• Category I: Students from Classes 1 to 4

• Category II: Students from Classes 5 to 7

• Category III: Students from Classes 8 to 10 

• Category IV: Students from Classes 11 and 12 

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to all students, teachers, parents, judges, and organizers who contributed to the success of the contest. The First Chavara National Online English Elocution Contest 2023 stood as a meaningful tribute to St. Chavara’s enduring legacy in education, encouraging young minds to speak with courage, conviction, and creativity.

Winners in each category were announced during the online programme, with the top three participants recognized for their outstanding performances. Selected winning speeches were featured, showcasing clarity of thought, confidence, and powerful expression. In addition to the prize winners, numerous students were honoured with Excellent Performance Certificates, acknowledging their commendable efforts and participation.
